Description "Ice Queen" is the second single of Dutch rock band Within Temptation from their second studio album Mother Earth. The song is one of Within Temptation's most successful songs to date in Europe. They also ended "Black Symphony" (LIVE DVD) with this song and many other concerts. Also. The song is about the name of the album, Mother nature who shows no sympathy ;"....when she is raging she takes life away...." The whole album has that theme. In the video Sharon, the singer, is dancing around on a background of a blue, starry sky. She is wearing a white dress and has white extensions in her hair. The other band members are surrounded by fire, thunderstorms, rain, ice and futuristic images. After a while, all band members are shown together on a red planet.
